This literature review examines the growing body of research on Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) in response to increasing organizational demands for sustainability. Based on an analysis of ten international journals, this study synthesizes findings on the relationships between Green HRM practices, employee green behavior, green innovation, environmental performance, and organizational sustainability. The review reveals that Green HRM practices such as green recruitment, green training, green involvement, green rewards, and green performance management consistently have positive effects on pro-environmental behavior, green innovation, environmental performance, and sustainability outcomes. Several studies highlight the mediating roles of green entrepreneurship, green knowledge sharing, and green commitment, while environmental regulations strengthen the implementation of Green HRM across sectors.
