Author Guidelines

Preparation of the manuscript

Manuscripts submitted to Cylinder: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Mesin should adhere to the specified template. You may get the template by clicking here. The manuscript should be structured in the following sequence: title, author(s) name(s) and their entire affiliation(s), email(s), abstract, introduction, main body of the paper, acknowledgements, and references. The abstract must not surpass a word limit of 150 words.

Equations

All mathematical equations should be accurately printed or typed with clear and generally accepted notation. Superscripts and subscripts should be carefully positioned either above or below the baseline. Equation numbers should be presented as Arabic numerals enclosed in parentheses and aligned to the right margin. The appropriate citation format for these references in the text is as follows: for instance, Eq. (1), or Eqs. (1)-(3).

Tables

Tables must be orderly numbered using Arabic numbers. Avoid incorporating a border along the perimeter of tables. It is mandatory to mention all tables in the text.

Figures

All illustrations must match the publishing requirements by being of excellent quality, with clear symbols and inscriptions that are easy to read. Authors should take into account the need for size reduction throughout the printing process to ensure that line clarity and character sizes meet acceptable standards. All figures should be referenced in the text using their respective captions, such as Fig. 1 or Figs. 1-3.

References

The manuscripts should include a comprehensive list of references, arranged in sequential order, at the end. The prescribed format for the mentioned references is as follows:
