Perbandingan hasil uji kelembaban kulit pada pemberian topikal susu yoghurt dari susu bubuk kedaluwarsa

Pendahuluan: Kondisi kulit yang kering cukup sering terjadi dan dapat mengenai semua usia. Maka dari itu diperlukan pengukuran kadar hidrasi untuk mencegah kondisi kulit kering. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat menimbulkan kondisi kulit kering, baik faktor internal seperti usia, kadar hormon, dll maupun faktor eksternal seperti kondisi lingkungan dan penggunaan produk kecantikan secara topikal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung peningkatan kadar hidrasi sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan produk intervensi berupa masker berbahan dasar susu bubuk kedaluwarsa yang kemudian difermentasi menjadi yoghurt.
Metode: Penelitian ini adalah uji perbandingan dengan desain quasi experimental. Sampel diambil secara no random consecutive sampling, dengan kriteria inklusi pria dan wanita usia 18-60 tahun dan telah menghentikan penggunaan masker umum untuk minimal selama 3 hari, dan kriteria eksklusi berupa reponden yang menolak ikut dalam penelitian, dengan gangguan kulit yang parah, dan riwayat alergi terhadap bahan intervensi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara mengukur kadar hidrasi subjek menggunakan alat ukur berupa skin analyzer, serta membagikan kuisioner. Kemudian dianalisa menggunakan uji statistika Wilcoxon dan uji normalitas Kolmogorov Smirnov.
Hasil: Terdapat 100 subjek sehat yang diberikan intervensi, terdiri dari 70 responden wanita (70%) dan 30 responden pria (30%). Pada penelitian ini didapatkan perbedaan rerata skor hidrasi secara bermakna pada subjek sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan p=<0,001.
Simpulan: Berdasarkan hasil studi ini, didapatkan pemberian produk intervensi meningkatkan kadar hidrasi secara bermakna.
