Publication Ethics

MitraMas: Community Sercive and Empowerment Journal present articles of the utmost quality in content, providing solution and insight into community problems through the expertise of writers. All our articles are presented in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Plagiarism is checked and removed from any of our existing articles. Our team of editors, reviewers, and managers involved in the publication process are experts in their respective fields to deliver the best quality of articles.
Manager Ethics
1. Protect the confidentiality of writers, editors, and partners.
2. Establish good working atmosphere among editors and partners.
3. Provisions for intellectual property rights (specifical copyright).
4. Follows writing guidelines and publishing process.
5. Collaborate with other institutions from various fields.
6. Promote journals from various fields to the community globally.
7. Organize and manage funds for journal continuity.
8. Provide convenience access to journals.
9. Implement publication ethics to prevent conflicts of interest with other parties.
Author Ethics
1. Submits original article that are not currently in the process of review from other journals.
2. Ensure that the article sent is in the style of the journal.
3. Write only names of true authors (contributes to the substance and writing aspects) in the article. 4. Prove that all authors have agreed to the final version of the article to be published. 5. Determine one corresponding author who will be responsible if there is a problem in the publishing process if there are more than one authors.
6. Monitor the review progress though an open journal system (OJS)
7. Revision of the articles must be done within four weeks after the notification appears in OJS.
8. Provide originality statement that can be found here.
9. Only insert data related to the article submitted.
10. Ensure the articles are free from conflicts of interest with other parties.
Editor Ethics
1. Follows writing guidelines and publishing process and responsible for every published articles.
2. Provide an objective, transparent and fair selection and review process to the authors without discrimination of gender, the origin of institution, religion, race, and nationality.
3. Ensure that the journal and language style are followed by the authors.
4. Consider inputs and opinions from authors, reviewers, editors, and managers to produce quality journals.
6. Provide a clear, easily accessible and understood infromation in the journal website.
7. Protect the confidentiality of articles except to authors, reviewers and managers involved in the review process.
8. Protect the confidentiality of writers and peer-reviewers.
9. Build a good communication with writers and peer-reviewers to meet journal publishing target.
10. Understand implementation of publication ethics to prevent conflicts of interest with other parties.
Reviewer Ethics
1. Competence in respective of field of science related to community.
2. Have published articles in national and international journals.
3. Responsible for the content of articles.
5. Collaborate with editors in making decision related to article feasibility.
6. Give constructive feedback to authors to improve quality of articles.
7. Inform the editors if the article is not suitable with reviewer’s competencies.
8. Fill out the article evaluation form provided.
9. Analyze articles objectively, honestly, independently, siding solely on scientific truth.
11. Protect the confidentiality of the articles studied by not discussing it with other parties.
12. Submit results of review assignment within 5 weeks and should inform the editor if they require an extension or cannot finish the assignment.
13. Protect the privacy of the writer by not disseminating the results of the review.
14. Review the reference source used by authors related to its accountability and relevance.
15. Avoid misuse of the articels for personal needs without the author’s consent.
17. Notify any similarities of the articles to previous submitted articles.
