This paper aims to present the results of design and implementation of Moto-GV (Motorized Guide Vane) for a crossflow turbine type micro-hydro power plant and its application in PLTMH Beranda Unit 1 and Unit 2 PT. PLN (Persero) Wilayah Kalimantan Timur dan Utara. The design and implementation aims to change the manual system into an automatic system in regulating guide vane openings thereby reducing the risk of damage to turbine equipment, generators and supporting equipment due to fluctuating loads or disturbances in the network system which causes the generator turbine to overspeed. The design results resulted in a Moto-GV manufacturing cost of IDR. 5,343,500.- Meanwhile, the potential savings that can be obtained is IDR. 123,311,500.- Per Units in one year.
