Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a very important device in a building, especially a data center building. ATS functions to maintain uninterrupted current flow, both primary (PLN) and secondary (Genset). Considering the importance of the ATS device, an individual test must be carried out before energize. The function of this test is to make sure it’s reliability of the ATS device. The Visual Inspection methodology verifies the completeness of ATS identity before installation. The Insulation Resistance Test verifies that phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground insulation remains above the prescribed minimum threshold. The Contact Resistance and Continuity Test are essential in diagnosing the quality of electrical connections and circuit pathways, preventing excessive resistance variations that may lead to equipment failure or operational hazards. The Current Transformer Test serves to validate load detection accuracy. Lastly, the Torque Verification procedure ensures the mechanical robustness of terminal connections. The findings provide a foundation for preventive maintenance strategies and offer recommendations for enhancing the long-term reliability of ATS systems within data center infrastructures. The testing procedures are conducted in accordance with both national and international standards, such as SNI, PUIL, ANSI/NETA, IEC, and NFPA.
