Abstract

Residual Life Assessment is an analysis of a mechanism of damage that occurs in an installation while it is operating with reference to the literature and the history of use of the institution itself. This study was conducted with the aim of evaluating or analyzing the increase in service life in the RLA manufacturing process using the corrosion rate method with Long Term calculation and also statistical evaluation. Data was obtained through visual inspection, design data collection, and Ultrasonic Testing methods. The comprehensive repair efforts have had a significant impact on increasing pipe durability, where the corrosion rate has decreased from 0.670 mm/years in 2024 to 0.103 mm/years in 2025. This has resulted in an extension of the life from the original 4 years (2024) to 33 years (2025).
