Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the workplace, particularly in enhancing business efficiency and effectiveness. However, its successful implementation relies not only on technological capability but also on the level of user acceptance. This study aims to examine the influence of AI acceptance factors on employee work effectiveness within the procurement division of PT SMART Tbk. The variables analyzed include perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude, and system quality, derived from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the DeLone & McLean IS Success Model. A quantitative research method was employed by distributing questionnaires to employees in the targeted division. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) to test the relationships among variables within the research model. The results reveal that none of the variables exert a significant effect on employee effectiveness. These findings indicate that technological factors alone are insufficient to enhance work outcomes; instead, continuous training, improved system quality, and effective change management strategies are necessary to foster optimal AI adoption.
