The occupational safety climate reflects employees’ views on supervision, resources, and safety policies, which can change and indicate current safety priorities. This climate serves as a key marker of safety performance and is shaped by workers’ attitudes. On the other hand, safety culture is more enduring, representing the organization’s shared, long-term dedication to safety. Safety climate is generally evaluated using questionnaires that review policies, procedures, management commitment, communication, training, systems, behaviors, and outcomes, often employing a Likert scale with a focus on psychometric validity. According to NOSACQ-50 findings at Pt. XYZ Indonesia, the highest average score was for worker safety commitment (3.60), highlighting strong awareness and responsibility. However, lower scores for management participation (3.28) and management competence (3.32) suggest a need for greater management engagement and skill enhancement. Other aspects, like management’s prioritization of safety (3.48), perceptions of safety practices (3.35), colleague support (3.35), and confidence in safety (3.49), are at good levels but still have potential for improvement to further strengthen the safety culture.
