Evaluasi Perbandingan Struktur Jembatan Akibat Beban Lalu Lintas Standar dan Kendaraan Angkutan Barang Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) pada Jembatan KCM Wisma Asri Bekasi

Every day, the KCM Wisma Asri Bridge is traversed by dozens of soil transport vehicles, specifically CWE 280 type dump trucks, which have a maximum payload capacity of 18 tons but are frequently overloaded up to 33 tons. While the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of these vehicles is 26 tons, the total weight of the soil transport vehicles crossing the KCM Wisma Asri Bridge reaches 59 tons. The structural evaluation comparing Standard Traffic Loads and Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicles was conducted using manual structural mechanics formulas for a single-span bridge. The analysis concludes that the bridge deflection due to ODOL loads increased significantly, rising from 10.7 mm to 21.1 mm. Although this value remains below the allowable deflection limit of 87.5 mm, the daily frequency of these loads increases the risk of permanent deformation. With more than 20 ODOL vehicles passing per day, the structure undergoes a significant repetitive loading cycle (approximately 7,300 cycles per year). This accelerates the deterioration of the prestressed concrete, leading to cracking, tendon corrosion, and a reduction in structural stiffness.
