Supply Chain in Healthcare: a Systematic Literature Review

This study aims to map the development of Healthcare Supply Chain research by analyzing the distribution of scientific articles based on annual publication trends, research sectors, authors’ countries, study categories, and journal types. A systematic literature review method was employed to examine prior studies on supply chain management in the healthcare sector, particularly hospitals. The findings indicate that healthcare supply chain research has evolved in a multidisciplinary manner, with dominant themes including supply chain risk management, system resilience, integration, and digital technology adoption such as big data, IoT, and blockchain. Theoretical frameworks such as TAM, TPB, and UTAUT are widely applied. This study identifies existing
research gaps and provides recommendations for future research, especially in strengthening healthcare supply chain risk management in developing countries.
