Abstract

At the West Bandung Regency Statistics Agency (BPS), the budget execution monitoring process is still conducted manually using physical documents, which leads to various challenges, such as reporting delays, the risk of recording errors, and limited access to timely and accurate data. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Budget Implementation Monitoring Information System (SIMORA) to support an integrated process for monitoring and validating documents. The system was developed using the Design Science Research (DSR) method, which consists of the following stages: problem identification, solution goal definition, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation. The system was evaluated through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The UAT results showed a 100% compliance rate, categorizing the system as highly suitable. Meanwhile, the SUS testing yielded an average score of 79.68, which falls into the “Good” category. The research findings indicate that SIMORA is capable of supporting the budget implementation monitoring process.
