The increasing demand for automation in industrial environments has accelerated the adoption of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) as efficient material handling solutions. This study presents the design and implementation of a robust magnetic-guided AGV system that emphasizes reliability, safety, and operational stability. The proposed system combines magnetic tape-based navigation with a digitally controlled motor drive and embedded control architecture. Unlike
vision-based or LiDAR-based systems, magnetic guidance offers a cost effective and interference-resistant alternative for structured environments. The developed AGV demonstrates consistent path tracking, adaptive motion control, and reliable response to operational markers such as stop and speed commands. The performance of the system is validated through real-world implementation, showing improved navigation stability and reduced system complexity compared to alternative guidance approaches reported in recent studies.
