Abstract

Salah satu topik yang menjadi perdebatan filsafat di akhir abad 20 adalah persoalan ‘jatidiri’ (self). Sejalan dengan surutnya peran metafisika, hilangnya subjek, keraguan pada supremasi rasio, dan runtuhnya pengandaian-pengandaian dasar dalam filsafat, muncul pula kebimbangan mengenai arti ‘jatidiri’. Karangan ini hanya mencoba membuat skema kecil untuk menjelaskan dan membedakan konsep jati diri sebagai batasan yang berakibat pada pengayaan tuntutan perilaku etis.
