Guideline for authors
JUHR accept manuscript in English (more preferred). Use standard English consistently throughout the manuscripts accordingly. JUHR publishes research article (including systematic review and meta-analysis), review article, case report, short report, and editorial.
Format the manuscript in A4 paper size; margins are 1 inch or 2.5 cm all around. Type the whole manuscript 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment. Use Cambria font.
Use Arabic numeral in text, tables, figures, and pages. Make the page consecutively (centering at the bottom of each page).
Include line numbers (continuous) for the convenience of the reviewers.
References should use manual method.
Author(s) should submit the manuscripts as one Microsoft Word.
Manuscript will be checked throughly and carefully for evidence of plagiarism, duplication and data manipulation.
Type of manuscript
Original article. Original scientific papers are the results of empirically- or theoretically-based scientific research, which employ scientific methods, and which report experimental or observational work. Original articles should be: 2000-3500 words (excluding title, abstract, tables/figures, figure legends, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, and References), a structured abstract of 250-300 words, number of references are 20-50, maximum combined total of 7 tables/figures. Literature review article. Literature review papers should provide concise in-depth reviews of both established and new areas, based on a critical examination of the literature, and analysing the various approaches. Review article should be: 3000-6000 words (excluding title, abstract, tables/figures, figure legends, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, and References), a structured abstract of 250-300 words, number of references are 30-110, and maximum combined total of 7 tables/figures. Case Report. Case report is a descriptive study that is prepared for illustrating novel, unusual, or atypical features identified in patients in medical practice, and could potentially stimulate new research questions. Case report should be: 2000-2500 words (excluding title, abstract, tables/figures, figure legends, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, and References). A structured abstract of 250-300 words, number of references is 15-30. You can directly download template for case report here.
Short Report. Short report is presentation of research that extends previously published research, including the reporting of additional controls and confirmatory results in other settings, as well as negative results. Short report should be: 1000-1500 words (excluding title, abstract, tables/figures, figure legends, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, and References), A structured abstract of 250-300 words, number of references is 10-20.
