Peer Reviewed Process
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Elektro will undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure alignment with the journal’s focus and scope. As part of the initial evaluation, each manuscript will be checked using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software to verify that the similarity index does not exceed 20%, thereby maintaining academic integrity and preventing plagiarism.
Once the manuscript passes this initial stage, the Editorial Board assigns it to reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. The peer-review process follows a double-blind system in which the reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Two independent reviewers will review each manuscript. On average, the review process takes approximately two weeks from when the Editorial Board receives the article.
The Editorial Board carefully considers the reviewers’ comments and recommendations in determining the manuscript’s status, which may result in one of the following outcomes: accepted for publication, accepted with revisions, or rejected. Manuscripts that require revision will be returned to the authors, who are expected to address all reviewer comments thoroughly. Once revisions are completed, authors must resubmit the revised manuscript for final evaluation and potential publication.
