Hubungan perilaku sedentari dengan kualitas tidur mahasiswa kedokteran preklinik

Pendahuluan: Perilaku sedentari dan kualitas tidur buruk sering ditemukan pada mahasiswa kedokteran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku sedentari dan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa kedokteran preklinik Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya.
Metode: Penelitian potong lintang ini melibatkan 270 mahasiswa angkatan 2022–2024 yang dipilih melalui sampling berstrata secara proporsional. Perilaku sedentari dinilai dengan Sedentary Behavior Questionnaire (SBQ), sedangkan kualitas tidur dengan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Hubungan dianalisis menggunakan uji Pearson chi-square (α=0,05).
Hasil: Sebanyak 89,63% responden memiliki perilaku sedentari tinggi dan 54,1% memiliki kualitas tidur buruk. Kedua variabel berhubungan secara bermakna (p=0,039); OR kasar kualitas tidur buruk pada kelompok sedentari tinggi sebesar 2,31 (IK95% 1,02–5,21).
Simpulan: Perilaku sedentari tinggi dan kualitas tidur buruk banyak ditemukan serta berhubungan secara bermakna. Penelitian longitudinal diperlukan untuk menilai hubungan temporal dan kausal.
