Senam Kaki Diabetes untuk Memperbaiki Keluaran Polineuropati pada Penderita Diabetes

Abstract

Prevalensi ulkus kaki diabetik (Diabetic Foot Ulcer/DFU) di seluruh dunia mencapai 19-34%, dengan dampak serius termasuk risiko amputasi dan kematian. Senam kaki diabetes menjadi salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi prevalensi tersebut. Kegiatan ini mengevaluasi efektivitas senam kaki diabetes dalam memperbaiki rasa kebas, kesemutan dan nyeri serta menilai efek perubahan HbA1c pada responden. Partisipan melibatkan individu dengan DM tipe 2 yang telah mengalami polineuropati atau ulkus kaki. Senam kaki diabetes dilakukan selama 10 menit setiap hari selama 12 minggu, dengan tujuan mengevaluasi efektivitasnya terhadap keluaran kaki diabetes, seperti skor Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), intensitas serta frekuensi nyeri, kesemutan, dan kebas. Kadar HbA1c juga dibandingkan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Sebanyak 27 penderita polineuropati dan DFU datang dalam kegiatan demonstrasi senam kaki. Penurunan signifikan pada skor VAS, intensitas dan frekuensi nyeri, kesemutan, dan kebas setelah senam kaki diabetes diamati. Tidak terdapat perubahan kadar HbA1c yang signifikan, mengindikasikan senam kaki diabetes independen terhadap monitoring glukosa pada pasien DM tipe 2 dengan polineuropati. Senam kaki diabetes dengan 9 gerakan yang direkomendasikan mampu memberikan dampak positif pada keluaran kaki diabetes, menunjukkan penurunan nyeri, kesemutan, dan kebas.
