KEGIATAN PENGUATAN KAPASITAS MURID SMA SWASTA DALAM MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menghambat sistem pendidikan di Indonesia akibat kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah. Banyak masalah kesehatan yang dialami para murid baik dari segi fisik maupun mental, meningkat akibat pandemi COVID-19 yang berkepanjangan. Menyikapi hal tersebut, sangat diperlukan program yang adaptif dan inovatif untuk menyokong kegiatan UKS (Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah). Penulis mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa Penguatan Kapasitas Murid SMA untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para murid mengenai masalah kesehatan yang mereka alami. Kegiatan dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah kesehatan siswa melalui kuesioner online yang diisi oleh siswa dan orang tua, serta wawancara dengan guru. Setelah masalah kesehatan, teridentifikasi dilakukan kegiatan peningkatan kapasitas tahap awal secara daring berupa peningkatan pengetahuan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari pre-test & post-test, ice breaking, penyampaian materi, role play antar siswa, tanya jawab, dan kuis. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa 81% siswa mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai masalah kesehatan.. Kegiatan ini disarankan untuk dilakukan secara berkesinambungan dengan memperhatikan kesesuaian topik berdasarkan data faktual terkait masalah kesehatan yang dialami siswa, dan  melibatkan kegiatan ini ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan.
