About the Journal

Jurnal Perkotaan is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the publication of original research and scholarly analyses on urban issues from multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. The journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate knowledge and evidence relevant to the development, challenges, and dynamics of urban areas.

The journal covers a broad range of urban-related topics, including urban and spatial planning, economics, public health, transportation and mobility, urban ecology and environmental sustainability, governance and public policy, legal issues, social development, and child protection, as well as other emerging issues related to cities and urban communities.

Jurnal Perkotaan is published by LPPM Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya and has been in publication since June 2007. The journal is published twice a year, with issues released in June and December.

Through the publication of rigorous and relevant scholarship, Jurnal Perkotaan aims to contribute to the advancement of urban studies and to support evidence-based policy, planning, and practice for more sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and livable cities.
