Journal History

Jurnal Perkotaan is a scientific journal published by LPPM Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya since June 2007. This scientific journal is issued in June and December, with each edition featuring articles presenting original research on various urban themes from multiple scientific perspectives. The research articles cover current and contextual topics related to economics, health, transportation, ecology, governance, legal issues, and child protection, which are accepted for publication.

Jurnal Perkotaan faced publication challenges starting from Volume 14 No. 2 in the December 2022 edition due to a change in management and transition of the OJS version. The journal's distinctive topics have led to its accessibility by several international index institutions, prompting efforts for ranking by relevant national-scale institutions. June 2024 marks the beginning of efforts to revive Jurnal Perkotaan.
